Administration Officer (Quality Assurance) - Coffs Harbour
This is a Part Time position with the hours being 7am to 5pm, Monday, Wednesday and Friday located in our head office in Coffs Harbour, NSW.
As a QA Administration Officer you will be supporting the Quality Assurance Department through the maintenance of registers, databases, documents and compiling quality documentation to support supplied product. As we work within a specialised market, Thermal Electric will provide the successful candidate with full product training.
As a QA Administration Officer, you will be reporting directly to the Purchasing and Quality Manager and be responsible for:
- Updating and maintaining quality assurance records for compliance
- Updating and maintaining quality assurance databases
- Updating and maintaining quality assurance procedures and instructions
- Processing customer orders for specialised products
- Preparing documents for submission to customers
- Preparing reports for management on quality performance
- Preparing and conducting quality audits
- General administrative duties as required

Administration Officer - Perth
This is a Full Time position with the hours being 7am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday located in our sales office in West Perth, WA.
This is a long term position, therefore applicants must be a permanent resident of Australia.
As an Administration Officer, you will be reporting directly to the Administration Manager and be responsible for:
- Processing customer orders and invoices in MYOB
- Processing over the counter sales
- Completing daily branch administration duties including company filing, posting, banking and placing follow up calls to customers
- Raising despatch paperwork and arranging special freight when required
- Updating and maintaining company databases
- Assisting with Accounts Receivable
- Gathering of data for reporting and statistical purposes
- Liaising with customers
- Maintaining a clean and tidy office
- Some light lifting will be required
To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
- Highly proficient in the use of MYOB

Sheet Metal Fabrication - Coffs Harbour
This is a Full Time position with the hours being 7am to 5pm, four days a week located in our manufacturing facility in Coffs Harbour, NSW.
As a Sheet Metal Fabricator you will be responsible for the fabrication of products to customer specifications, from light to medium fabrication. As we work within a specialised market, Thermal Electric will provide the successful candidate with full product training.
As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will be reporting directly to the Production Manager and be responsible for:
- Fabrication of a wide range of metal products
- Ensuring work meets Australian and International standards
- Ensuring a high quality of work
- Providing input into improving processes
To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
- Relevant trade qualifications are essential
- A minimum of two years qualified industry experience
- Excellent MIG and TIG welding skills

Technical Design & Sales Estimator - Brisbane
This is a Full Time position with the hours being 7am to 5pm, four days a week.
As a Technical Design & Sales Estimator you will be based out of our Queensland office in Yatala.
You can expect to be working on the road face to face with clients one day per week with the other days spent fielding customer enquiries and producing quotations and technical designs to meet their requirements.
As we work within a very specialised market Thermal Electric will provide the successful candidates with full product training conducted over four weeks at our Head Office located in Coffs Harbour, NSW.
As a Technical Design & Sales Estimator you will be reporting directly to the Design Manager and be responsible for:
- Producing quotations based on customer requirements
- Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities
- Building and fostering relationships with clients
- Consulting with clients to identify, clarify and resolve their needs
- Providing technical advice to clients
- Designing heating solutions to meet client requirements
- Producing drawings and materials lists for the manufacture of products
- Producing technical drawings using AutoCAD
- Interstate travel around Australia as required
To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
- Willing to attend training at our Head Office in Coffs Harbour, NSW
- A mechanical or electrical background or related field
- Be an excellent communicator with highly developed sales and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain and develop customer relationships and business
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD software

Storeman - Coffs Harbour
This is a Full Time position with the hours being 7am to 5pm, four days a week.
As a Storeman you will be providing support to production through the provision of stores allocation and receipt of ordered goods and packing and despatching product. As we work within a specialised market Thermal Electric will provide the successful candidate with full product training.
As a Storeman you will be reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager and be responsible for:
- Receipt and quality checking of orders
- Allocating stores to production and identifying product for ordering
- Stock control, ordering and distribution
- Conducting regular stocktakes
- Advising on and controlling stock levels
- Packaging and despatching products to clients
- Forklift operations
- Data entry and despatch paperwork
- Some heavy lifting required
- Providing support to the Purchasing Department as required
To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
- Forklift license
- Experience within stores or a similar environment
- Experience within a manufacturing environment highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills
